Meet Ms. Vaglia!
My name is Linda Vaglia, and I am originally from Johnson City, Tennessee. I graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and received my master’s degree from the University of Missouri Columbia in Learning, Teaching, and Curriculum with a focus on literacy.
Teaching is my passion, and I have had the good fortune to teach in international, charter, and public schools in the United States, Italy, and Tanzania. In 2014 I moved to Georgia, and I am excited to begin my first year teaching at Lake Windward Elementary!
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have 3 sisters, a niece, and 2 nephews. In my free time I also love to bike, hike, garden, read, travel, and play the guitar and mandolin.
I look forward to working with you and your children. I believe it is important for us to work together to develop a nurturing classroom community.
